A banner in the editor area
In the free version, the editor area reserves a narrow strip for an ad banner. It sits alongside the actual workspace and never covers the preview or the timeline.
Pro · public version 1.3
FreeCut Pro is deliberately simple: you pay for the ads to disappear from the app — that is the entire benefit. Every editing capability, from multi-track cutting to export without a forced watermark, is already part of the free version. So instead of a feature list, this page gives you an honest answer to three questions: where the ads sit in Free, what Pro costs, and how the subscription works through Apple.
To help you judge whether Pro is worth it for you, we describe exactly where ads appear — rather than just promising they will vanish.
In the free version, the editor area reserves a narrow strip for an ad banner. It sits alongside the actual workspace and never covers the preview or the timeline.
While you browse templates and media, a single ad appears as a card between the content. It is labelled as an ad and is easy to scroll past.
Ads never interrupt work in FreeCut: playback, scrubbing, timeline editing and export always run without interference. This principle applies in Free and Pro alike, and it is stated in our privacy policy.
With Pro, both placements disappear: the banner slot goes away and the ad card no longer shows up. The interface gets calmer — nothing else changes.
Not a feature upgrade. Multi-track timeline, styled text, keyframes, linked media — the complete editor belongs to the free version. The features overview shows what FreeCut can do. See all features
Not a watermark remover. FreeCut always exports without a forced watermark — in Free just as in Pro. There is nothing to unlock and nothing to pay for that. Export without a watermark
Not an obligation. The free version is usable permanently, has no time limit and is not artificially cut down. Pro is an offer for people who want to work ad-free — nothing more.
There are two options: €3.99 per month or €39.99 per year. The yearly plan works out to €3.33 per month, which makes it about 17% cheaper than twelve monthly payments. Both options contain exactly the same thing — ad-free use. Before you buy, the Apple purchase sheet shows the binding price for your region including tax, plus any free trial that may be offered.

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your credit card or bank details.
Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions and cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Pro then stays active until the end of the paid period.
On a new iPhone or iPad, tap Restore Purchases in the app — Pro is reactivated through your Apple ID without paying again.
FAQ
Honest answer: only if the ads bother you. If you edit regularly and want the banner in the editor and the ad card in the browsing views gone, Pro gives you a calmer interface. If you only trim a video now and then, the free version takes you exactly as far — nothing is missing functionally.
No. Export, resolution and processing are identical in Free and Pro. There is no higher bitrate, no exclusive export option and no watermark that only disappears once you pay.
Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that you use FreeCut for free with ads again. Your projects and every feature remain unchanged, because no feature is tied to Pro.
Yes, as long as you use the same Apple ID. Install FreeCut and tap Restore Purchases in the app — the subscription is reactivated without paying again.
