Cookies and Privacy Choices

Last updated: August 10, 2026

What this website stores

  • Functional / essential: If you dismiss the mobile app banner, your browser remembers that decision locally for 14 days (localStorage) so the banner does not reappear. In addition, Google stores your consent decision itself in the FCCDCF cookie — it contains only your choice and is required so that it can be respected.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): only after your consent through Google's dialog. Cookies from Google domains (e.g. __gads, __gpi) may then be set for ad delivery, frequency capping and abuse prevention — and, only with consent, personalisation.

This website sets no analytics or marketing cookies of its own. Details on Google's processing are in the privacy policy, section 3.

How the consent dialog works

Visitors from the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom see Google's certified consent dialog (IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) on their first visit. Advertising cookies are only set after consent. If you decline, the website remains fully usable and no personalised ads are served.

App privacy choices

In the iOS app, ad and tracking choices are controlled at startup or through iOS settings. Personalised ads are only activated after your choice and Apple's ATT prompt. FreeCut Pro removes ads.

Change your choice

The button below (or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer) reopens Google's dialog so you can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time. Outside the EU/EEA no dialog appears, because no optional cookies are set without a consent requirement.
