2. Website data

Our hosting provider processes technically necessary server logs such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent and status codes to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

To fund this website we use Google AdSense (see section 3). The required Google script loads on every page; for visitors from the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom it does not set any advertising cookies before you consent through Google's consent dialog. We do not use any other marketing or analytics technologies on this website.

3. Google AdSense (advertising on this website)

This website uses Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). For transfers to the United States, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

For visitors from the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom, Google shows a certified consent dialog based on the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework before setting any advertising cookies. The legal basis for personalised advertising and advertising cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, no advertising cookies are set and no personalised ads are served.

After consent, Google may process your IP address, device information and cookies such as __gads and __gpi to serve ads, cap frequency and prevent abuse. Your consent decision itself is stored in the FCCDCF cookie.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or on the cookie page. More information: How Google uses data from partner sites, Google Privacy Policy, Ad settings.

4. FreeCut app and local media

FreeCut is designed as a local video editor. Videos, photos, screenshots, audio files, projects, previews and exports remain on your device by default. We do not upload your imported media to our servers.

5. Ads, ATT and tracking (app)

The free version of FreeCut may show ads. Ads must not block playback, scrubbing, export, timeline work or live editing. Non-personalised ads can be used without app tracking.

Personalised ads are only activated after your explicit choice in the app and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Depending on the ad partners integrated and your consent, approximate location, device ID, advertising data, product interactions, crash data and performance data may be processed.

FreeCut Pro disables ads in the app.

6. In-app purchases and subscriptions

FreeCut Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple. Apple processes payment. We do not receive credit card, bank or payment details. The app uses purchase status to unlock Pro, disable ads and restore purchases.

Current Pro options: 3.99 EUR monthly or 39.99 EUR yearly. Regional App Store prices may vary.

7. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
