Local editing first

FreeCut processes imported videos, photos, audio files, projects and exports locally on your device by default. Your media is not automatically transferred to FreeCut servers.

App Store data categories

Depending on your use and enabled services, the following categories may be relevant:

  • Approximate location: only in connection with ads/ad delivery if processed by an ad partner.
  • Device ID: for ads, ATT/ad ID and technical ad delivery.
  • Purchase history: for FreeCut Pro, purchase restore and ad-free status.
  • Advertising data: for ads, impressions, clicks and ad measurement.
  • Crash and performance data: for stability, debugging and app quality.

Not collected by default

  • No contacts.
  • No health, fitness or financial data.
  • No precise location tracking.
  • No persistent transfer of your photos, videos or audio files to FreeCut.
  • No payment details such as credit card or bank data; payments are handled by Apple.

Ads and tracking

FreeCut may show non-personalised ads. Personalised ads are only activated after your in-app choice and Apple's ATT prompt. FreeCut Pro removes ads.
